This group has created ways for those dealing with sarcoma or for those who have passed on from their battle with sarcoma to share their story through their website. The have also begun to use social media such as Twitter at their major fundraising events as a way to allow folks who have could not attend the events physically to still be there and part of the story.
The greatest impact from how this group is using technology is that they have not only found innovative ways to serve the sarcoma community, they are constantly seeking ways to help them take ownership and actively participate in the community during a time when they may feel like they don't have a lot of control around other elements of their life.
