We're using technology to connect our organizers to others in the climate change through the Climate Network. Instead of each organization (Focus the Nation, 1Sky, Energy Action Coalition, Consequences 09) finding its own solution, we've joined forces to create a collaborative community that respects each of our organization's brands and lists while letting our users collaborate.
Beyond how the network functions, the Climate Networks has allow been a great example of cross movement team building and collaboration. Decisions on development are made collectively and all partners pitch in to fund the work. It has created bonds between all four organization's online departments, leading to many shared projects and ideas.
Our mission is to accelerate our transition to a clean energy future by empowering and supporting young people through education, engagement, and action. When Focus the Nation engages a young person, one of our primary goals is to plug them into the climate movement to make them a more informed and involved activist. This tool makes it incredibly easy, now their organizing is shared across all our partner's networks and there integration into the wider climate movement is an organic and logical next step.
