1)Using social media, video, and an innovative website, These Numbers Have Faces is able to tell the incredible stories of the township youth in South Africa that are working towards a higher education. Our use of technology connects the everyday donor with the people they're supporting. It goes beyond charity because it creates a true sense of relationship.
2)These Numbers Have Faces is giving an opportunity for youth in America to connect with South Africans and bettering their lives by sponsoring their college education. TNHF has a great website and is doing a lot on Facebook to network and connect people to what they are doing.
1)When we can put a face and a story to the harrowing statistics coming out of Africa, we are creating a larger global community that cares for the well-being of all human, regardless of borders or continents. It calls to our attentions that there are people in need and very tangible ways of meeting those needs. We're happy to say that there are now six students that receive scholarships to attend college. That's six future leaders of the new South Africa. It's exciting stuff.
