How this organization is using technology for good

We are using Twitter, Facebook, and email to keep our supporters up to date. Using these vehicles has made it easy to include our supporters in meetings, share stories, and helped up to get to know them better. Facebook has been especially useful for us to connect with the high school students Outdoor School serves.

We've also been testing ways to help our partners (nonprofit and for-profit) by retweeting their tweets.

What it has meant

We have used email for a long time in an effort to conserve resources and for ease of communication. Facebook has been key in our ability to reach out to the high school students Outdoor School serves and enable us to help engage them in Outdoor School after the week they are on site.
